🚀 API Update v2.3.1 Now Live in Production! 🎉

Note: This release was initially rolled out to the Sandbox environment earlier this week, but we held off on the announcement due to a delay in publishing the updated API documentation. We wanted to ensure full clarity and avoid confusion for developers integrating the new features. All changes are backwards compatible — if you encounter any issues, please report them immediately and we’ll address them promptly.

We’re thrilled to announce the release of API version 2.3.1 in the Production environment!
This major release introduces powerful new features, expanded chain support, and a smoother developer experience for global payments.

All updates are fully backward compatible with existing integrations.

✨ Highlights

🇺🇸 USD Rails Now Live
Full support for USD on-ramps and off-ramps (ACH & Wire) for individual US residents.
⛓️ New! BSC Chain Support
Off-ramps now available for USDC and USDT on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC).
🇳🇬 NGN Onboarding Simplified
BVN is now collected during bank account creation to streamline the onboarding process.

🔍 New Features & Enhancements in Detail

1. USD Payment Rails (ACH & Wire) for US residents

Supported Flows:

On-ramp (ACH & Wire) and off-ramp (ACH) for USD.
Off-ramps to EUR and GBP bank accounts also supported.

Simplified KYC:

Only Personal ID and Selfie are required.
No Proof of Address needed.

Integration Requirements:

POST /user must include the user’s Phone Number.
POST /user/kyc/applicant must include:
- 9-digit SSN
- IP address

2. BSC (BNB Smart Chain) Support

Users can now off-ramp USDC and USDT from their BSC wallets.
Expands Unblock's blockchain support for broader crypto payment use cases.

3. API & Flow Improvements

Unified Bank Account Schemas
A consistent, currency-specific schema now applies to all remote bank account endpoints. (Backward compatible)
NGN Flow Update
BVN is now collected during bank account creation, not user profile updates.
Richer Webhook Payloads
- fiatToCrypto webhook now includes structured senderDetails (e.g., senderName, accountDetails).
- cryptoToFiat webhook updated to include structured beneficiary details.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Corrected several webhook subType values for improved accuracy.
Enhanced error messages across multiple endpoints for better developer feedback.

🔮 What's Coming Next

Corporate Third-Party Beneficiaries

A major update is on the horizon for corporate clients!
You’ll soon be able to manage payouts to third-party beneficiaries (e.g., employees, vendors) via:

POST /corporate/{uuid}/bank-account/remote
